Description:
* Help us to build out our underlying data sets to support the development of new fraud strategies and to create supporting data features needed to support the execution of real-time detection rules.
* Contribute to the creation and maintenance of reusable data pipelines, focused on feature creation.
* Assist in developing the data environment and data sets needed to support fraud detection rule performance and to develop KPI reporting
* Assist the team in designing datasets for performing analysis on new fraud detection rule performance
* Define strategy for monitoring key components of the data pipeline to proactively detect issues that may impact key processes.
* Develop dashboards for monitoring key performance metrics and establish alerting thresholds for determining when metrics are out of performance bounds
Requirements
* Strong understanding of data modeling principles
* Experience with data integration and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
* Experience in creating curated datasets for reporting and analytics
* Proficiency in SQL for querying databases
* Hands on experience using BigQuery
* Ability to design and develop interactive dashboards using Looker and Tableau
* Experience & proficiency in using Github
* Strong analytical skills to interpret data and derive insights
* Experience in defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs)
* Understanding of retail banking
* Understanding or experience in fraud or risk management, ideal
* Experience in with data models used at financial services organizations a plus
* 2+ years programming knowledge and experience with Python, SQL, SCALA, and ANVIL ----------
