Position Description

Responsible for the final packaging of various product lines for the Biotech industry. Employees execute production processes by strictly adhering to Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instruction Documents. The role involves routine tasks with occasional deviations, requiring moderate complexity. Precision is essential as errors could lead to significant interpretative issues.

Essential Functions

Operate and/or monitor production equipment, making necessary adjustments to ensure smooth operations and high-quality results in the work area.

Collaborate with other technicians to perform filling, labeling, and packaging of products.

Comprehend production paperwork including product reconciliation, label reconciliation, labor sheets, product fill checks, and torque checks.

Follow manufacturing paperwork meticulously without deviations from instructions.

Handle chemicals and hazardous materials safely.

Adhere to all company safety regulations and procedures.

Follow ISO 13485 guidelines and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Clean and sanitize work areas, machines, glassware, or equipment as required.

Effectively communicate and collaborate with work groups to ensure task and project completion.

Perform duties in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Be flexible to work overtime and varying shifts.

Perform other assigned duties.

Physical Requirements

Regularly stand, walk, use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls, talk, hear, and smell.

Frequently reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Ability to sit for extended periods as required by the nature of the work.

Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work in a moderate noise level environment.

Skills

Proficiency in basic packaging techniques, equipment operation, and protocol record retention.

Comfortable with chemical handling.

Strong computational skills.

Ability to execute instructions precisely without deviation.

Education

High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.

Experience

Previous production or laboratory exposure is advantageous but not required.
