We are working with a client located in Coral Gables that is looking for a Senior HR Manager to join their team. This is a newly created role and will be their first hire in developing their HR team. This role is 100% onsite and offers competitive compensation plus bonus incentives.

The Senior Human Resources Manager manages human resources policies and procedures related to workforce stabilization, compliance, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits program administration, and other special projects.

Senior Human Resource Manager Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with leadership on the creation of company Strategy and Operational policies based on company goals and values. Providing interpretations of HR policies, practices, and procedures to employees and managers.
  • Develops Company’s employee handbook alongside advice for legal counsel.
  • Develops human resources policies and programs and directs the staff in managing and implementing programs that support employee engagement, productivity, and company objectives.
  • Partners with leadership to optimize HR operations and streamline core processes like onboarding, hiring, terminations, timekeeping, and others that make up the employment life-cycle.
  • Handles the FMLA and State leave administration process from the employee’s initial notice of the need for leave to the return to work.
  • Administers other company time-off programs as assigned in accordance with internal policy and applicable laws.
  • Manages learning and development activities. Partnering with company leaders to assess training needs for their individual teams and ensuring State Mandated training compliance requirements.
  • Independently conduct unbiased investigations, determine findings, and prepare all documentation as they relate to employee relations concerns.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in employee relations, engagements, and lifecycle.
  • Maintains broad and current subject matter knowledge and expertise in federal and state employment laws to advise leadership with solutions for human resources issues and evolving organizational needs.
  • Manages the deployment and administration of operational processes used to deliver HR programs and projects.
  • Communicating with entire organization to ensure proper messaging.

Senior Human Resources Manager Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in related field
  • Masters degree a plus
  • Multilingual preferred (English, Spanish, Cantonese)
  • Experience transitioning away from PEO highly desired.
  • Great communication skills (written and spoken)
  • Strategic thinker
  • Multi-unit, multi-state experience
