Summary of Position:

NVE seeks an Event Production Coordinator to organize all aspects of events from conception to execution that meet our quality expectations. This position will support the Event Producer in ensuring client objectives are maintained throughout the production process and execution. The ideal candidate is professional, proactive, organized and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning and execution of events including logistics, production and technical
  • Work with team to develop project plans with timelines and budgets
  • Track and manage production schedule, monitor progress and proactively communicate status of all projects to Event Producer on an ongoing basis
  • Track and manage budget to ensure cost containment and profitability while delivering on client objectives
  • Review and edit project and event proposals from team members
  • Attend event rehearsals to ensure the set-up and working order of all audio-visual equipment, resolving any issues or technical errors
  • Research vendors, review proposals, conduct site visits.
  • Prepare documents for events including production schedules, run of show and scripts

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in event production or as a project manager
  • Degree in event management or related field
  • Onsite experience in event production
  • Organized, proactive problem solving, and attention to detail skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently, adhering to timelines
  • Experience developing detailed event budgets
  • Ability to work as part of a team that includes Operations, Design, Creative
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Previous client-facing role within an agency

Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% or more of the time while working remotely and in a standing position 50% or more of the time while working offsite
  • Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Have a valid Driver’s License
  • Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally heavier items
  • Available to work weekends and evenings as needed for events

Location: We are a hybrid company with hub locations in Los Angeles and New York City. The ideal candidate is located in New York.

Hourly Estimation:

This is a non-exempt role eligible for OT in accordance with local law. The hourly range is $21.00 - $24.00 per hour. NVE intends to provide a competitive total compensation package which includes a variety of incentives, benefits, growth and developmental opportunities. There are many factors to the presented hourly range, including but not limited to - location, departmental budgets, certifications, and overall job-related qualifications.
