RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead a team to development of the architecture, implementation, and ongoing management (ensuring availability, performance, and scalability/evolution) of the enterprise Shared Data Platforms.
  • Develop technologies that support core Shared Data Platforms concepts, including co-existence, bi-directional data flows, core data, reference data, metadata, quality, etc.
  • Develop a team to build Shared Data Platforms that scale with the growth of the company; provide research and insights for strategic consideration; effectively sell ideas to key stakeholders; secure funding and execute.
  • Lead a team to delivery, and support of automated, cloud-based capabilities and technologies in support of the Shared Data Platform strategy and roadmap.
  • Assist the Director to Monitor and report the status of inflight workstreams, measure and report on the utilization, performance, and cost of the Shared Data Platform capabilities.
  • Make improvement proposals and Implement enhancements to further automate and scale the Shared Data Platforms.
  • Proactively manage projects, support, and tactical priorities of Shared Data Platforms.
  • Provide implementation support to DT peers to ensure that master data is an integral and accessible component of the Integrated Digital Platform.
  • Manage high-quality technical support (ticket resolution, uptime, maintenance, enhancements).
  • Support of M&A, systems conversions, and other shared data projects from a technology perspective
  • Technically manage both active and passive data governance solutions as well as continuous monitoring of master data quality
  • Manage testing methods and automation. Ensure that scripts for both unit and system integration testing are comprehensive.
  • Leads a team to development innovative solutions to automate high touch, subjective, repetitive processes to better leverage functional Data Analysts to derive value from master data analysis outputs
  • Develop high performing team members will thrive and grow, with associated career path progression and job satisfaction
  • Implement the technology for Shared Data Platforms for the Enterprise Data Strategy.
  • Provide implementation, production and support to delivery teams leveraging the Shared Data Platform.


  • QUALIFICATIONS

    FORMAL EDUCATION:

    • Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent) or in lieu of a degree, at least 12 years in experience in the field of Information Technology or Business (work experience or a combination of education and work experience in the field of Information Technology or Business).


    KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

    • 10+ years in Data / Technology roles with increasing levels of responsibility
    • 8+ years of management experience and leading teams or experience building teams from scratch.
    • 5+ years managing activities related to the maintenance of data and strategy, standards, and quality.
    • 5+ years hands-on experience creating, maintaining, and retiring enterprise-scale programs that are flexible, responsive, and deliver value aligned to strategic objectives (preferred)
    • 5+ years working cross-functionally to align data with security architecture, information security, and privacy standards (preferred).
    • 5+ years working in the Manufacturing and/or Consumer Products industry (Preferred)
    • Experience with RMDM. Stibo, and Oracle Product Hub.
    • Manage technical teams.
    • Deep knowledge of data analytics tools and platforms best practices
    • Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
    • Clear and concise verbal and written communication
    • Ability to take on complex challenges and coordination with software development teams and business.
    • Demonstrable experience increasing delivery of MDM Technologies tools and across an enterprise.

    This position is eligible to work in the office three days a week and has the option to work remotely two days a week.
