Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and Salesforce-certified Project Manager to lead and manage Salesforce implementation and enhancement projects for our government clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management, extensive knowledge of Salesforce platforms, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget. This role demands excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with a focus on ensuring that Salesforce solutions align with business objectives and meet the unique needs of government organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies for Salesforce implementations and enhancements.
  2. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including government agency leaders, IT teams, and end-users, to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  3. Evaluate feature requests, gather detailed business requirements from clients, and work closely with the engineering team to translate requirements into actionable user stories.
  4. Lead end-to-end implementation of Salesforce solutions, overseeing configuration, customization, integration, and data migration processes.
  5. Manage cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and consultants, ensuring effective collaboration and timely delivery of project milestones.
  6. Oversee testing and validation processes to ensure that Salesforce solutions meet functional, technical, and government-specific requirements.
  7. Work with project teams and stakeholders throughout the development cycle to ensure features meet desired business objectives and comply with government regulations.
  8. Identify potential project risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate as necessary to ensure project success within the government context.
  9. Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including progress reports, budget tracking, and post-implementation reviews. Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  10. Deliver training to government clients on the Salesforce platform and newly developed features, ensuring smooth adoption and user proficiency.
  11. Stay updated on Salesforce best practices, new features, and emerging trends relevant to government applications. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of Salesforce implementations within government organizations.

Qualifications:

  • Salesforce Certifications: Salesforce Certified Administrator required, other Salesforce certifications a plus.
  • Project Management Certification: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with at least 3 years focused on Salesforce projects, preferably in government or highly regulated industries. (Total experience 14-15+ years)
  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platforms, including Service Cloud and Public Sector Solutions. Familiarity with integration tools and third-party applications relevant to government operations.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously in complex organizational environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and navigate government communication protocols.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering practical and scalable solutions that meet government requirements and security standards.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and government project management frameworks is highly valued.
  • Understanding of government procurement processes, compliance requirements, and data security standards is a significant advantage.
