Job Title: FIS Hedge Fund Portfolio Manager (VPM) - Implementation and Data Management

Location: Remote

Duration: 8-12+ months

Overview: We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead the implementation of the FIS Hedge Fund Portfolio Manager (VPM) system and address critical data challenges within an ongoing program. This role is essential for ensuring the successful deployment of VPM and optimizing data workflows. The ideal candidate will have in-depth expertise with FIS VPM (Hedge Fund Portfolio Manager) OR familiarity with similar systems, such as Geneva, Aladdin, WSO, or Simcorp.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of the FIS Hedge Fund Portfolio Manager (VPM) system, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes.
  • Address and resolve data management challenges related to the program, improving data workflows for accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including technology teams, portfolio managers, and external vendors, to meet system and data requirements.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive project plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation for a successful implementation.
  • Provide technical and strategic oversight on system configuration, customization, and user adoption.
  • Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and manage all aspects of project governance.
  • Ensure comprehensive training for end-users and offer ongoing support post-implementation.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with FIS Hedge Fund Portfolio Manager (VPM) or similar portfolio management systems (e.g., Geneva, Aladdin, WSO, Simcorp).
  • Strong background in managing large-scale technology implementation projects, ideally within hedge fund or asset management environments.
  • Expertise in portfolio management systems, data management practices, and integration processes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, especially in solving data-related challenges.
  • PMP or relevant project management certification preferred but not required.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor s degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in program management, preferably within the financial services industry.
