Job Summary:
The IT Project Manager will oversee and manage the full lifecycle of IT projects within the organization. This role includes defining project scope, planning and scheduling, executing and controlling project activities, and closing out projects. The IT Project Manager is crucial for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the defined scope and quality standards. They will work closely with senior management and project sponsors to align project objectives with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the complete lifecycle of IT projects following the organization's Project Management Methodology.
    • Initiate/Define Phase:
      • Gain a high-level understanding of the project requirements.
      • Obtain senior management approval and define project scope with the project sponsor.
      • Prepare and submit the project scope document for approval.
    • Plan Phase:
      • Coordinate and participate in Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) meetings.
      • Prepare project schedules and planning documents, including risk analysis and schedule adjustments.
    • Execute/Control Phase:
      • Implement the project plan within budget and on schedule, adhering to scope, time, quality, and cost constraints.
      • Communicate project status to stakeholders and escalate issues as necessary.
      • Manage changes to scope and schedule effectively.
    • Close Phase:
      • Conduct project closure meetings and perform all closure activities, including feedback and recognition.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing IT projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing projects through all phases.
  • Experience with PlanView is a plus.

Special Requirements:

  • Relevant Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances if required.
