This role is crucial in managing cash receipts, supporting accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), billing, and general accounting functions. The ideal candidate will maintain accurate financial records and foster effective communication across departments. Responsibilities:
- Cash Receipt Management: Process and record incoming payments, ensuring timely and accurate entry into financial systems
- Accounts Payable & Receivable Support: Assist with AP and AR tasks, including invoice processing, payment tracking, and reconciliations
- Billing Coordination: Support billing operations by verifying payment accuracy and resolving discrepancies
- Communication: Maintain timely, accurate, and effective communication with all local cash handling control managers in the department
- Role Updates: Update cash handling roles for all payment receipt locations at the sub-department level promptly and accurately
- Reporting: Prepare and distribute cash receipt reports and reconciliations to relevant stakeholders
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency in cash management
- Other Duties: Perform additional accounting tasks as assigned by management to support the overall objectives of the department
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus but not required
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, particularly in cash management
- Strong understanding of AP, AR, and billing processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
