Job Description
Akkodis currently has an IT Security Engineer / Risk Assessment position that is remote. Cannot work with agencies on this position. Pay/Salary Range: $50.00-60.00/hr.
IT Security Engineer / Risk Assessment will focus on vendor controls, assessing vendors across the organization, and security review. This person will work across multiple project strings, looking at vendor controls, vetting vendors security controls, etc. Looking for someone who is technical enough to do more than send assessments. Needs to truly understand the security and has a technical background in security in order to question vendors, push back with questioning, and understand the risk and security of any and all types of vendors brought into the organization/environment. This could be any vendor that will be integrating the organizations systems.
This role IS NOT and Audit or Compliance or GRC role, it s an Engineering role
The scope of work:
Perform reviews of vendor infosec controls and infosec program maturity.
Work with multiple project teams, across organization to complete vetting/infosec reviews.
Support risk assessment processes, risk ranking, and risk reporting.
Requirements:
At least 3-5 years of security review experience.
Experience with vendor security controls is ideal.
Risk analyst or management experience in some capacity.
Can have a background in either network or application security.
Framework experience is not important.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $60.00 per hour
