The Role

Nature’s Touch is one of North America’s leading providers of Frozen Fruits and to help sustain our growth we are looking for a Senior Key Account Manager focused on private label sales.

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, the position will take a leading role in creating effective account activity and work closely with our major customers in the United States to deliver joint business plans and drive category growth. This role can be based anywhere in the United States.

The Senior Key Account Manager’s responsibilities include:

  • Act as the primary liaison between Nature’s Touch and key customers, ensuring their needs are met while representing the company’s interests effectively.
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve growth targets and drive profitability.
  • Prepare compelling and data-driven presentations tailored to each customer, identifying growth opportunities and actionable plans.
  • Lead negotiations with customers on pricing and contracts to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Cultivate and maintain superior relationships with assigned accounts and customers, fostering trust and collaboration.
  • Manage with the customer the project lifecycle with private label customers, from innovation to packaging changes, ensuring seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with category teams to drive category growth through the 4 P’s.
  • Develop and manage budgets and forecasts for accounts, ensuring alignment with volume and profit targets.
  • Develops, runs, and communicates monthly sales performance dashboards/scorecards.
  • Supports data/insight gathering and reporting – internal/external
  • Handle customer requests and communications promptly and professionally.

Position Requirements

  • University degree, preferably in business discipline
  • 2 – 3 years managing large national accounts as an Account Manager
  • Experience with private-label products is required.
  • Experience with category management and or marketing is preferred.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a passion for building long term partnerships
  • Proven track record of business development
  • Demonstrably high-calibre analytical ability and presentation skills
  • Comfortable in taking calculated risks.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Confident and driven to bring in new business.
