Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Strategy and Innovation Co-Op to join our team in Boston, MA starting January 2025. The ideal candidate will stay with our Power Systems and Services team 6 months - 1 year. This is a unique opportunity to gain Fortune 500 experience, with mentorship from a senior Strategy leader. The mission of the Strategy Intern is to participate and lead various strategy projects for our Power Systems and Energy Management business in support of the innovation, corporate development, and business development workstreams of the Division.

What will you do?
  • Drive main strategic planning activities of power systems within energy management business unit, working closely with business division, segment, global/regional teams
  • Lead strategic projects and innovation initiatives
  • Support long-term strategic planning workstreams
  • Conduct strategy reviews on ad-hoc topics for business unit leaders, company executive committee and board of directors
  • Monitor industry, policy and market trends and bringing externally driven insights and expertise on Equipment, Service and Sustainability topics (e.g., Recurring services, targeted segments, energy transition, DER, climate change, social trends, emerging issues) to inform the business or segment strategy

What qualifications will make you successful?
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills: ability to screen and quickly absorb information on various topics from multiple sources and synthesize it to make meaningful recommendations
  • Strong interpersonal skills, which include verbal/non-verbal communication and active listening
  • Fast learning capacity and curiosity for learning about Energy Management and Schneider Electric businesses
  • Resourceful, tenacious and self-starter attitude, interest to roll-up sleeves and get things done
  • Structured way of working; ability to work under time pressure, good attention to detail
  • Ability to work hybrid (1-2 days/ week in person) based in one of our Boston, Andover or Foxborough MA sites.
