About the Role

Figure is looking for an entry-level Associate Quality Control Analyst to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our consumer lending and blockchain technology products. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in quality control and work closely with Product Managers and Engineers.

What You'll Do

  • Test Planning & Execution: Collaborate with Product and Engineering Managers to understand business requirements and create comprehensive test cases to ensure high-quality features.
  • Manual Testing: Thoroughly test new and existing features to identify and address bugs before customer release.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Record test results, document defects, and create detailed reports for the development team.
  • User Experience Testing: Participate in user experience sessions to provide feedback on product usability.
  • Collaboration & Support: Work closely with Engineering and Product teams to support the creation of unit tests and integration into build cycles.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to enhancing testing processes and implementing efficiencies.
  • Learning & Development: Engage in ongoing training to grow your quality control and product testing skills.

What We Look For

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in software testing, quality control, or related field
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Basic knowledge of software development lifecycle and methodologies
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within the role and the company

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with manual testing tools or software
  • Familiarity with bug tracking software (e.g., JIRA, Shortcut)
  • Basic understanding of automated testing concepts

The salary range is $84,800-$106,000 with up to a 25% Bonus and Equity. Actual compensation may vary based on individual candidate experience and location.
