Wisemen Multimedia, LLC is seeking an energetic Human Resources Manager to perform a wide variety of HR related tasks and payroll in support of our fast-paced company. The Human Resources Manager will collaborate with hiring managers, drive the hiring process for all new employees, deliver new employee orientation and on-boarding sessions, and collaborate with teammates on exciting HR projects. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, will act with professionalism and confidentiality, and will be able to work well in a deadline-oriented environment.

Responsibilities of this role: Conduct onboarding process for various departments. Assist with recruitment efforts, and prepare employees for their assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs

Leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, and surveys in support of the HR Department. Provides customer service support and guidance on employee relations issues. Assists departments with discipline and terminations according to WMC’s policy. Monitors and ensures compliance with federal, state and local employment laws. Oversee and refine employee standards and procedures, using existing HR systems as well as improved or recommended processes Maintain and enhance employee benefits programs, including compensation, health insurance, expense reimbursement, and vacation

Ensure compliance with national and local HR regulations by conducting investigations and maintaining records

Identify and recommend improvements to internal standard operating procedures, including team restructuring and morale building

Manages employee leave program, including benefits and FMLA.

Processes Workers’ Compensation and Unemployment Claims.

Assists with special projects. Performs payroll duties. Core Objectives of this role: Support departments in developing and delivering strategic HR plans that fit with the overall business direction Plan, monitor, and appraise HR activities by resolving employee grievances, training managers in how to coach and discipline, and counseling employees and supervisors Champion the onboarding process by ensuring that it's high-quality and up to date, and provide clarity and connection for employees so their roles serve the overall business vision Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human-resources policies and procedures Build strong relationships with external suppliers, fostering trust and promoting collaboration Handle confidential matters with discretion

Required skills and qualifications Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in human resources or related field; MBA highly desired Must have three or more years of experience in human resources or employee recruitment Experience working with Workday software

Strong understanding of national laws related to HR Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, under tight deadlines and under pressure.

Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Effective time management skills.

Must be a US Citizen and pass a background check.
