  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer
Location: REMOTE
Duration: 6+ months
Pay rate: $60/hr. W2 (No C2C/third party candidates please)

Job Responsibilities

  • Enhance/Balance on-call
  • Automate: support radars, GDPR, CI/CD
  • Tentpole/feature support
  • Relieve support ticket loads; automate tools ; migration.
  • Overall fleet troubleshooting/management, point of contact for infra operations teams
  • Secrets and certs management, ACLs, etc.
  • Work with dev teams on deployments and operations tasks
  • Participate in infrastructure migration projects both software and hardware - Complete migrations: ACI Redis, Kube, AWS, Dragon, Postgres, Prometheus
  • Participate in on-call rotations attending to alerts and incidents
  • Creation and maintenance of run books
  • Security vulnerability mitigation in consultation with SRE teams
  • Automate operational tasks
  • Technical documentation, load testing
  • Application debugging

Technical Skills

  • Experience with large scale distributed system in a multi-DC environment
  • Programming skills in Python or Go is mandatory
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Strong Linux skills - Deeper level knowledge of Linux, virtual machines, VM monitoring etc.
  • Experience with bare metal infrastructure as well as orchestrated environment like Kubernetes
  • Well-grounded in Linux and networking fundamentals
  • Expertise in a general purpose programming language preferably Go-lang or Python (some level of programming)
  • Expertise in troubleshooting using logs and telemetry data
  • Experience with load balancing and traffic shifting
  • Experience with public clouds like AWS, and Google Cloud Platform
