IO Datasphere, Inc. has been providing project management, software development and IT staff augmentation services to our clients in the Midwest and throughout the U.S. since 1996. We are an approved vendor on contract to provide software development and IT staff augmentation services for the States of Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. We also provide these services to businesses, as well as local and county governments, in the Midwest and nationwide.

Our client is looking for a Business Analyst (Network & Telecom). The Business Analyst (Network & Telecom) will receive, process, present data, and information regarding client s weekly Service Requests (Infrastructure Service Requests). The role will be responsible for gathering business and technical requirements during the client kick off meetings. The Business Analyst will also consult SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) on tasks required to complete integrated projects for all Telecommunication services, such as, WAN, WLAN, MLAN, Security, Contact/Call Centers, Telephony, and Video and manage multiple projects based on client s assignments.

Tasks

• Facilitate meetings with clients to gather requirements for all IT solutions and to identify impacted business processes and determine best process and IT solution integration.
• Facilitate review sessions to discuss projects.
• Disseminate information effectively to all technical teams, customers, and technical managers.
• Understand a large (enterprise) and complex network environment.

NOTE: Local candidates to Lansing (strongly preferred) or non-local that are willing to relocate prior to starting at their own expense with no delays in relocation. Must follow the on-site/hybrid schedule. NO REMOTE OPTION ONLY. Will need to be onsite from day 1, two days a week.

Skills Required:

• Experience / strong knowledge of an enterprise-wide network
• Experience / ability to obtain and report business and technical requirements
• Experience working with multiple network platforms, such as, WAN, MLAN, WLAN, Security, Voice, and Videoconferencing.
• Experience working with multiple agencies and/or vendors and/or departments in an enterprise environment
• 3-5 years - Experience with Microsoft Project and Excel
• 3-5 years - Experience with Remedy/Helix
• 3-5 years - Experience working within a telecommunications environment
• 3-5 years - Experience working in a large enterprise setting
• 3-5 years - Experience with multiple network platforms
• 3-5 years - Experience working with multiple network lines of service
• 5+ years - Experience dealing with customers
• Bachelor s Degree

Skills Desired A plus to have:

• 1-3 years Experience with Clarity
• 2 3 years - Experience with DevOPs
