Overview:

The Accounts Payable position will support our US division through transaction accounting functions such as processing accounts payable, preparing disbursements and general ledger reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • High volume AP processing with three-way match and an emphasis on internal controls
  • GL Coding
  • AP activities included: receiving, reviewing, coding and processing of expense reports, G&A invoices, Operational vendor invoices, and credit cards
  • Vendor set up, outreach, maintenance, and statement reconciliation
  • Contacting vendors to complete ACH and banking confirmations.
  • Assure transactions are documented and properly classified for both internal reporting and federal, state and local tax reporting purposes.
  • Reconcile, note, and resolve or report discrepancies found in records
  • Perform general office duties such as filing and handling routine correspondence
  • Assist with month-end close
  • Assist with streamlining accounts payable processes
  • Special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • At least 1-2 years bookkeeping experience
  • Demonstrate competence in various accounting software applications such as NetSuite, SAP Concur, Office365, and Excel
  • Ability to read and interpret various types of documentation
  • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills, including strong telephone and written skills
  • Acute attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Proven ability to learn new accounting systems quickly
  • Self-directed problem-solver with a positive attitude and willingness to implement process improvement for efficiency and efficacy
  • Desire to grow within an organization

Location: Denver Metro Area preferred (Hybrid)

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 USD

Bonus Opportunity: 10% of annual salary
