Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and driven Private Credit Managing Director to lead our private credit investment strategy. This role involves overseeing the entire investment process, from sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities to managing portfolio performance and building client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investment Strategy Development: Formulate and execute the private credit investment strategy aligned with the firm’s overall goals.
  • Deal Sourcing: Identify, assess, and execute on high-quality private credit investment opportunities across various sectors.
  • Due Diligence: Conduct thorough financial analysis, risk assessments, and due diligence on potential investments.
  • Portfolio Management: Oversee portfolio performance, making recommendations for improvements and adjustments as necessary.
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, and industry stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of investment professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes affecting private credit investments.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present investment reports and performance updates to senior management and clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in private credit, leveraged finance, or related investment fields, with a track record of successful deal-making.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a deep understanding of financial modeling and valuation techniques.
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership abilities and experience managing high-performing teams.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
