The Position Proposition:
Primoris Power Delivery is seeking a Senior Billing Coordinator - Edison Power Constructors. Edison builds, maintains, and repairs electric transmission, distribution, and substation infrastructure.
The Senior Billing Coordinator will invoice for all type of PG&E projects, collect back-up and work within PG&E systems to submit and collect data.
This role is office based in Fairfield, CA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the billing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all billing operations.
- Analyze and resolve any billing discrepancies or issues that may arise.
- Maintain and update billing systems with accurate information.
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing billing inquiries or concerns.
Prepare accurate reports and analysis related to billing activities.
Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance with billing procedures.
Assist in training and mentoring junior billing technicians.
Required Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience working with PG&E and their systems.
- Must be able to work at a brisk pace and be a self-starter.
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to read and understand contract terms and conditions
- Possess strong communication skills (written/verbal) with the ability to interface with diverse levels of personnel
- Ability to enter data with speed, consistency, and accuracy
- Ability to take direction, prioritize, problem solve, multi-task, and work under time constraints
- Ability to work in team environment, as well as independently
- Previous office experience, minimum of 1 year
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Understanding of Billing and Invoicing, preferably within the construction industry
