Job Description

For our Anchorage office, we are seeking a Corrosion Control Engineer with at least five years of experience who wants to work and grow as a team player within our multi-discipline firm. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic as well as experience collaborating in a team environment.
Responsibilities May Include:
- Assisting with Internal and External Corrosion Evaluations & Monitoring
- Atmospheric Corrosion Control Inspections
- Preparing and Reviewing API 570 & 653 inspection reports for technical accuracy
- Preparing calculations in accordance with API 570 & 653 standards
- Performing cathodic protection surveys for various structures (pipelines, docks, etc.) and preparing reports
- Preparing cathodic protection system designs including drawings, specifications, and materials selections
- Overseeing cathodic protection system installations
- Performing site walk downs and preparing field as-built drawings
Requirements Include:
- API 570 or API 653 certification preferred
- NACE CP2 or higher preferred
- Oil and gas, DOD and/or water/wastewater inspection corrosion control experience
- Travel, perform field work, and work overtime
- Valid driver s license and driving record that meets Coffman s stringent requirements
- Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC) or eligibility to obtain a TWIC
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 30 pounds without assistance
- Competency in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel and database programs
- Exceptional organization, writing, communication and project management skills
