Summary:

Since 1997, AlphaStaff has delivered HR outsourcing solutions to thousands of small and medium-sized businesses across the country, as well as some large organizations. We are searching for an Escrow / Funding Manager for a renowned client in Orlando called VOTA Inc., a leading expert in the vacation ownership industry, providing premier title and escrow services. The Funding Manager will oversee the daily operations of the funding department, ensuring the accurate and timely disbursement of funds in compliance with regulatory requirements and client standards. This role is crucial in leading a team responsible for critical transaction processing functions, with a strong focus on timeshare transactions. You will work closely with internal teams to implement best practices, optimize processes, and support the company s ongoing modernization and digitization efforts.

Your strong background in the escrow industry, ideally with an escrow license from another state, particularly one with stringent regulatory requirements, makes you well-equipped for this role. Your experience in managing digitization initiatives within a funding or escrow department enables you to bridge traditional methods with modern technology. Familiarity with ALTA best practices is a plus, though training can be provided. Your expertise will position you to make a significant impact on the company s future operations and growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the funding department, ensuring productivity, quality, and client standards are consistently met.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations, fiduciary responsibilities, and contractual timelines.
  • Conduct quality control audits to identify opportunities for process improvement and drive productivity enhancements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including compliance and legal departments, to implement best practices and operational changes.
  • Provide leadership in the digitization and modernization of funding processes, bridging traditional methods with innovative technology solutions.
  • Maintain exceptional customer service levels, acting as a key point of contact for internal and external clients.
  • Develop and mentor team members, ensuring they are well-versed in industry-specific protocols and company policies.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor s degree and/or escrow license, preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the title and escrow industry.
  • Strong understanding of escrow laws and regulations across various jurisdictions, with a focus on fiduciary duties.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to manage and develop a team in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with proprietary escrow or title software systems.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to change and lead teams through periods of organizational restructuring and process innovation.

Preferred Qualifications (not required):

  • Escrow license from another state, particularly in jurisdictions with stringent regulatory requirements.
  • Previous experience in managing digitization initiatives within a funding or escrow department.
  • Familiarity with ALTA best practices.
  • Location: Boca Raton, FL.
