We are seeking a motivated, qualified individual to join our company as an Operations Coordinator who will play a crucial role in providing administrative support and working as a liaison to ensure the smooth and efficient management of work order fulfillment. All work will be performed in accordance with Company policies and procedures and local, regional, and national regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serve as point of contact for customers and employees regarding work orders and general inquiries
  • Manage the work order process and ensure efficient coordination of operations
  • Generate and print work orders for the production team, ranging from a single product, drum, or tote to multiple products, drums, or totes
  • Create and print packing lists, batch tickets, and labels as per production requirements
  • Pull, create, and print documents to ensure they are readily available for the production process
  • Maintain accurate and organized paper copies of essential documents
  • Establish and manage folders for easy document retrieval
  • Print Safety Data Sheets as required for each product
  • Pull Bills of Lading information from the database for shipping purposes
  • Document client information into the database to update records and maintain data integrity
  • Receive payments when necessary, handle checks or cash transactions as required
  • Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of payment transactions
  • Receiving mail and distribute to appropriate departments
  • Partner with internal departments and team members to ensure accurate delivery of orders
  • Provide prompt follow up and resolution to any work order discrepancies
  • Manage a high call volume, emails, and work orders through the course of work shift
  • Ensure leadership has up-to-date daily reporting
  • Maintain current knowledge services and products
  • Provide recommendations on new methods to intake and fulfill order requests
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Previous operational support or similar experience
  • Chemical industry experience is desirable
  • Microsoft Office experience

  • Strong time management, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Detail orientated with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend associated documents and maps
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to follow all company policies and procedures
  • Ability to work other than scheduled times as necessary to meet deadlines or ensure that daily work is completed
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in the chemical industry is a plus
