Junior Risk Analyst

Location: Whitehall, OH
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Junior Risk Analyst

Job Description

• Ensure timely and high-quality completion of all control testing requirements in line with organizational guidelines.
• Assist in performing risk and control self-assessments.
• Participate in identifying and analyzing risks.
• Support the development and execution of enterprise risk management programs.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance proactive risk management programs and related initiatives.
• Help business and technology teams understand processes and controls.
• Collaborate with Technology Segment Risk Managers to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business partners and technology teams.
• Assist risk partners and business segments in timely issue remediation.
• Provide support for policy, controls, and process documentation.
• Document and maintain internal team processes as needed.
• Contribute to the team's continuous improvement culture by applying critical thinking skills and experiences to make suggestions.
• Promote a risk-awareness culture.

Basic Qualifications

• Up to 3 years of risk-based experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent transferable experience through coursework, internships, or work experience.
• Aptitude for business and technology with a willingness to learn and understand key processes within technology, cybersecurity, and data management.
• Highly motivated with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks with a high level of detail in a high-pressure environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present requirements and issues clearly and concisely.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment and collaborate on projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Suite.
• Experience in technical writing.
• Technical or cybersecurity experience.
