Responsibilities

As a member of the Global International/Commercial team, the role provides support needed to drive MAC’s global retail footprint, as well as manage key meetings with retail partners and affiliates. The responsibilities include:

  • Working with the regions to ensure execution of the assortment strategy created by the Commercial & Retail Director.
  • Go to market of Trade Marketing activities, including creating and sharing with the regions the promotion guardrails, GWPs and review of local requests (ACS)
  • Regional Calendar tracking (program priorities, investments and visualization).
  • Regional Alignment meetings calendar and content
  • Preparing and coordinating content for key retail partner visits
  • Supporting Global Round Table (GRT) planning and content
  • Ensuring follow-up on market visit action items
  • Providing presentation support for the SVP International as well as Directors for key meetings

Lead execution of assortment strategy by channel

  • Coordinate across cross-functional team the execution of assortment strategy by channel through process development and communication
  • Partner with corporate team on the deployment of assortment management tool to improve process efficiency.
  • Assist in bi-annual process to update global core assortment. Provide analysis to define add/deletes and how this will be implemented across channels including execution briefs.
  • Assist the ED of Commercial/Retail in the preparation and coordination with SD/VM for key projects
  • Support ED with the creation of briefs in partnership with VM for select project priorities to execute across different channels and regions
  • Support the Commercial/Retail Director by assisting in reviewing assortments to increase productivity and experience by channel.
  • Provide visibility to marketing into regional needs for evergreen/key moment kits based on channel and regional ACS requests

Develop Promotion Guardrails

  • Maintain and adapt as needed the overall global promotion strategy (including GWP, Gifting and Key Moments) factoring in strategic direction of ED of Commercial as well as needs of the regions and markets.
  • Create guardrails for regions to define levels of promotions for key shopping moments and establish rules around them.
  • Sign-off of guardrails with ED of Commercial and SVP of International
  • Share guardrails with regions for cascade to the affiliates

Execution of Key Initiatives

  • Consolidate and support market and regional call-outs for global escalation to key departments (marketing, creative, supply chain, finance). Gather key facts, overview and share/recommend to relevant stakeholders.

Retail Partner & Market Visits

  • Prepare key retail partner visits to New York, including agenda, presentations, talk tracks, and align with Marketing and Affiliate on innovation priorities and exclusive programs.
  • Manage action tracker and meeting cadence for both Retailer and Market visits. Ensure follow-up of key agreed actions by the relevant owners.

MAC Commercial Presentations

  • Support SVP International and Commercial team with key brand presentations (Retailers, GRT, Townhall), including PowerPoint creation, creating and editing talk tracks
  • Coordinate with other departments (Creative / Marketing / President) to ensure powerful brand presentations for key internal and external meetings.

Qualifications

5+ years Project Management Office (PMO) Experience or Analyst within Consulting firm

  • Experience in DTC/retail and omni-channel marketing strategy strongly preferred or broader commercial experience
  • Knowledgeable of merchandising concepts in assortment management
  • Solid experience in analysis, go-to-market strategies and execution.
  • Able to foster collaboration with cross-functional and regional teams.
  • Creative & resourceful, can operate with limited resources and find solutions to deliver business needs
  • Intellectual flexibility, manage several projects at a time, can complete projects aligning several stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, service, and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office with advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel

Education

  • Undergraduate degree in Business Administration or related field

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $85,000 to $139,600. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
