About the Company:
Exciting opportunity for a passionate hands-on Health and Safety Manager to join a F500 consumer packaged goods (CPG) manufacturer, to manage all aspects of plant H&S to ensure a safe, accident-free work environment and develop, lead, implement, and support the plant safety culture.
This is an amazing opportunity to make an impact in this key flagship facility with over 600 employees, where you will mentor and manage 10 direct reports (6 Safety and 4 Security) and as a a key member of the Leadership Team you will report to the Plant Manager.
Responsibilities which are a must include:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 7+ years H&S experience in a medium to large manufacturing plant.
- 5+ years of supervisory/leadership/management experience.
- In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal health and safety regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, EPA).
- Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and implementing risk management strategies.
- Experience in leading accident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
Also helpful will be:
- Lean / Continuous Improvement mindset.
- Solid ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, influence safety culture, and drive compliance initiatives.
- CSP certification, a plus.
Compensation: $120K - $150K base salary + bonus + outstanding relocation and other benefits. Location: Beautiful Central California.
