Our company is looking for an Electrical Transfer Technician. The candidate will have the opportunity to become part of a historical reality in the area, a world leader in the field of machinery for the production and processing of glass, involved in a process of expansion and strengthening of some key business sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Management of on-board machine wiring activities and resolution of any anomalies or faults;
  • Testing and testing of machinery;
  • Parameterization and configuration of automation components (drives, network switches, machine PCs, IP addresses of fieldbus nodes, ...)
  • Installation and maintenance of machinery and systems at the customer's site;
  • Coordination of local workers for the performance of site activities;
  • Training of external technicians in the operation of the machinery;
  • First start-up and supervision;
  • Drafting of technical reports relating to the correct execution of the testing activity;
  • Direct interface with internal and external bodies (workshop, engineering, customers).

Requirements

  • We would like to meet candidates in possession of a Technical/Professional Electrical/Electronic/Electrotechnical Diploma.
  • 1/2 years' experience in a similar role is required for companies operating in the Industrial Automation sector.
  • Good ability to read wiring diagrams, experience in testing and wiring panels and knowledge of automation elements (inverters, drives, motors, etc.) are of fundamental importance.
  • The profile is completed by the collaborative, operational approach and the ability to interface with the various internal and external bodies including the customer.
  • Availability for frequent trips abroad, even outside Europe (approximately 150 days/year) is required to carry out the task at Customers.
  • Knowledge of the Ms Office package (Word, Outlook, Excel) is required.
  • The job requires knowledge of the English language (B1 level, preferably B2) to manage communication with foreign customers and the training of external technicians.
  • Any knowledge of the French language is a distinctive element in the selection.
