There are two positions open, one in each location. This is an open-ended contract position with a possibility of going full-time. The hourly rate is in the $35-$47.50/hr range or salary is in the $70K-$80K range + benefits.

Work Environment:Hybrid

Hourly rate:hourly rate is in the $35-$47.50/hr range or salary is in the $70K-$80K range + benefits

Hours: 7:00am 3:30pm OR 12:30pm 9:00pm

Bachelor Degree required:HIGHLY Preferred

Referral Fee: $500 -Refer qualified colleague, friends, or family.

Responsibilities

  • Creates shell/templates of legal documents and facilitates court filings.
  • Reads, interprets, and prepares legal documents to anticipate and assume responsibility for related tasks.
  • Proofreads documents/work products for consistency, content, grammar, and spelling.
  • Initiate filings/e-filings with U.S. District and State Courts.
  • Assists with scheduling of meetings and depositions.
  • Coordinates and schedules law and motion and ex parte hearings.

Skills

  • Litigation and e-filing experience with U.S. District and State Courts (California needed, Washington State a plus)
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Innova/Litera.
  • Ability to perform advanced document formatting, conversions and redlining.
  • Strong litigation practice area knowledge with the ability to understand legal terminology and documentation.

Minimum Education

  • High School or GED

Preferred Education

  • 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree
  • Bachelor's degree or some college coursework strongly preferred.

Minimum Years of Experience

  • 2 years administrative experience in a law firm or professional services organization. May require related practice area experience.

Work Environment

  • Requires regular in-office presence, with some flexibility to work from home upon approval.
  • Client would like one person who could work 7:00 am to 3:30 pm and another who could work in the evening hours (12:30 pm to 9:00 pm).
