Purpose:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of critical projects within our organization. This role combines strong technical expertise with exceptional project management abilities, ensuring seamless integration between operations and business objectives. As a Project Manager, you will oversee a variety of projects while also providing direct technical support to ensure system performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:Project Management:
  • Scope & Planning: Define and manage project scope, objectives, and deliverables that align with business goals.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate open and regular communication with stakeholders, providing updates and managing queries and escalations.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Oversee project budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and negotiate vendor contracts to ensure timely delivery.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks, track project performance, and ensure alignment with timelines and budget constraints.
  • Industry Best Practices: Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices to optimize project execution and outcomes.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, reporting on KPIs to assess project success and areas for improvement.
Technical Support:
  • End-User Support: Provide hands-on support for desktop hardware, operating systems, network connectivity, and business applications.
  • Remote Support: Assist remote employees with troubleshooting and installations, ensuring consistent system performance.
  • Network & System Troubleshooting: Manage and troubleshoot network environments, conducting root cause analysis for recurring issues.
  • Ticketing & Incident Management: Monitor and resolve support tickets, escalating Level 2/3 issues as needed for advanced troubleshooting.
  • User Education: Provide step-by-step guidance to users and maintain professional relationships to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
Support System & Documentation:
  • Incident Documentation: Ensure all incidents are logged in the ticketing system for future reference and continuous improvement.
  • Compliance & Security: Collaborate with technical teams to ensure systems maintain data integrity and security.
  • Performance Monitoring: Conduct regular system audits to assess performance and proactively address issues.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Technical Expertise:

    • Proficiency with desktop, tablet, and server operating systems, particularly Microsoft environments.
    • Strong understanding of LAN and wireless technologies, Active Directory, and network management.
    • Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues in desktop/laptop environments.
    • Familiarity with support workflows, including ticketing systems and remote access tools.
  • Project Management Competencies:

    • Proven experience in project management, including resource allocation, financial planning, and crisis management.
    • Strong leadership, communication, and team management abilities.
    • Experience using project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Kanban boards).
    • PMP certification is preferred but not required.
  • Customer Support Skills:

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to understand and resolve user issues efficiently.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure while delivering excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in project management and technical desktop support.
  • Relevant certifications, such as PMP, Microsoft Certified Professional, or CompTIA A+, are a plus.
