Compensation: $44,000+ Benefits (that currently include):

  • Medical (Anthem): 3 copay/deductible options; base plan is $35/paycheck

Position Summary: Ready to make a real impact? Join our team as a Case Manager for Minor Victims of Human Trafficking! You'll be on the front lines, providing crisis intervention, comprehensive care, and financial support to young survivors. Whether it's connecting clients to medical, legal, or mental health services or collaborating with local partners, you'll ensure they have the support they need. Learn the ins and outs of the Trafficking Victim Protection Act (TVPA), track case progress, and help organize outreach events. Love to travel? You'll be on the go across the state, building relationships and spreading awareness!

Essential Job Functions

  • Provide minor victims of human trafficking crisis intervention, comprehensive case management, and financial support.
  • Make referrals and link clients to medical, mental health, legal and other service providers.
  • Build relationships and collaborate with external partners to provide a continuum of care for clients specifically in the Greater Hartford County Region including Litchfield and Eastern Counties.
  • Become familiar with the Trafficking Victim Protection Act (TVPA), the social benefits available to victims and their legal rights.
  • Maintain documentation for case files and track services for reporting purposes.
  • Assist with planning and facilitation of outreach events and professional training.
  • Travel within the state to carry out case management duties and attend and facilitate meetings for outreach and professional networking purposes.
  • Support the agency by performing any other duties deemed necessary.
  • Travel statewide is required.

Qualifications

  • Fluency in Spanish required.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a client-facing social services position; Background in social work preferred.
  • Superior organizational, communication and prioritization skills
  • At least 2 years' experience working with vulnerable and/or underserved populations.
  • Excellent writing, organizational, public speaking, and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience working with client databases.
  • Ability to have a flexible schedule to accommodate occasional after-hours services.
  • Must have reliable car, valid U.S. driver's license and valid auto insurance.
