Position Overview:

The Technical Business Analyst’s primary focus is helping businesses implement technology solutions through iterative software development practices. The Technical Business Analyst will support project oversight, backlog grooming, and work ticket definition activities related to preparing and supporting new development efforts. The Technical BA is tasked with pre-development system diagram documentation and requirement elicitation.

Candidates should be comfortable supporting project efforts through requirement gathering while documenting and communicating project outcomes, efforts, and goals clearly to stakeholders, facilitators, and partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and document business requirements
  • Prepare solution and process diagrams
  • Resolve roadblocks to development commitments
  • Identify and implement areas of process improvement
  • Coordinate daily stand-up/scrum meetings and Agile ceremonies
  • Manage and refine Agile backlog
  • Oversee the execution of Agile ceremonies
  • Track team progress in an onsite and remote team setting
  • Prepare and review service integration documentation
  • Understand and separate happy path from edge path testing scenarios
  • Document and communicate project outcomes clearly to stakeholders



Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
  • Experience with financial services industry processes and data models
  • Experience in API design, data mapping, and versioning
  • Experience with cloud migration projects
  • Experience with Office Suite, JIRA, Postman, Lucid Chart, Visio
  • Experience with TDD, Agile, Waterfall, V-Model, Process design
  • Ability to read/comprehend code and prepare service layer mapping
