Role Overview

The Energy Project Manager will be part of the Engineering & Construction (E&C) team, managing pre-construction activities for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. This role requires coordinating across several departments to optimize project scope, scheduling, and financial feasibility, with responsibilities that span from pre-construction through transition to construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Development, Engineering, and Supply Chain for project efficiency
  • Align resources to project schedules, with a focus on regulatory, environmental, and interconnection considerations
  • Develop technical project scope and optimize variables to balance technical and financial viability
  • Support PPA, GIA negotiations, and jurisdictional requirements with development teams
  • Manage project financial models, contract negotiations, and executive budget approvals
  • Present project progress, financial models, and risk management to executive teams
  • Oversee multiple projects across the U.S. and Canada, with occasional travel for site visits
