What You Will Do

We are currently searching for a Management Analyst. This role is to provide services and deliverables through performance of support services. This is a full-time remote opportunity supporting the office in Bethesda, MD.

  • Provide recommendations on co-fund availability and expenditures.
  • Provide support in pre-travel approval and travel planning; collect pre-travel authorization documentation from travelers including but not limited to taxi cost estimate, cost comparison forms, Omega itineraries, conference agendas and registration information.
  • Coordinate several ORWH activities, including office renovations and office moves, property management support, updates to organizational charts, FTE data, staff lists, and phone numbers.
  • Capture meeting minutes and prepare final documentation for distribution to participants.
  • Identify NIH or other data sources and perform data queries, literature reviews; develop data needed to prepare reports.
  • Assume liaison role with offices in coordinating risk management and emergency management strategies. Serve as point of contact with OD ORWH staff, as appropriate, on a variety of activities, including training on the use of the co-funding portal and support for cofounding activities.
  • Observe operations and documents standard practices and develops new standard operating procedures (SOP) and instructions.
  • Review operational and program plans to identify necessary resources and propose actions to address gaps.

  • Conduct formal evaluations for operations and performance and prepares reports and dashboards.
  • Assist program managers prepare annual budgets based on historical and estimated future spending.
  • Disseminate policies. This includes circulating policies throughout, including the intranet. Serve as intranet content publisher, which involves reviewing the work of others, ensuring consistency with agency policy, and circulating the content for broad dissemination.

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of TWO (2) years of experience in Business Management, Business Administration, Office administration, or similar settings.
  • Knowledge of the Federal Travel Regulations
  • Travel planning experience and/or knowledge of the Federal Travel Regulation
  • Project management experience
  • Social media and/or website content management
  • Coordinating/creating meeting minutes and/or summary reports.
  • Previous experience in executive level support
  • Meeting coordination and calendaring experience
  • Data analysis experience
  • Proficient in SharePoint, Microsoft Office, and/or Concur

What Would Be Nice To Have

  • Previous experience working with the National Institute of Health (NIH) preferred.

The annual salary range for this position is $57,300.00-$85,900.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
