About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Level 4 MS System Administrator with advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and comprehensive knowledge of migrating from Microsoft Office to Google Workspace tools. In this role, you will design, plan, and implement migration solutions for clients, helping them transition from MS Office tools (excluding Outlook) to Google Sheets and other tools like Tableau. The role requires technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a keen ability to consult and guide clients through the migration process.

Responsibilities:

  • User Consultation: Engage with end-users to review use cases of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools, determining their unique needs and objectives. Collect and prioritize user stories and use cases with business partners.
  • Gap Analysis: Compare MS Excel capabilities with Google Sheets and identify any functional gaps that might impact user productivity or operations.
  • Migration Design: Develop comprehensive migration strategies to bridge gaps identified, ensuring a smooth transition from Microsoft Office tools to Google Workspace, especially focusing on Excel to Google Sheets migration.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with migration teams, providing technical guidance and support through all stages of the migration process.
  • User Training: Socialize the changes to end-users, explaining differences in functionality between MS Office and Google Workspace and how these changes can benefit their workflows.
  • Continuous Improvement: Suggest improvements to processes, based on feedback and observations, to enhance future migration projects.


Your Expertise:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required
  • Previous large scale migration experience
  • 8+ Years of expert technical knowledge and experience with MS Excel and Google Sheets: Deep familiarity with advanced functions, macros, and data manipulation within MS Excel, as well as equivalent or similar features in Google Sheets.
  • Google Workspace Migration: Proven experience with migrating from Microsoft Office tools to Google Workspace, including understanding common challenges and best practices for minimizing user disruption.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to conduct gap analyses, comparing MS Office functionality with that of Google Workspace or other tools like Tableau.
  • Technical Consultation: Strong ability to consult with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring the migration process is clearly understood and well-executed.
  • Problem Solving: Expertise in identifying and resolving issues that arise during the migration process, ensuring minimal downtime and high-quality service.
  • Professional fluency in English (required)
