Project Overview:
Your role will contribute to elevating health standards by supporting a robust healthcare service system.
Essential Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years in a healthcare environment, within a clinical or administrative capacity.
- Lab Experience: Involvement with hospital and/or outpatient laboratory settings.
- Proficiency with Cerner PathNet General Laboratory within the Cerner Millennium suite.
- Expertise in Electronic Health Record (EHR) software implementation and evaluation.
- Strong foundation in Health Information Management.
- Proven ability to integrate and support project management within Implementation and PMO activities.
Desirable Expertise:
- Ideally experienced as a Business Analyst with Oracle Health Solutions.
- Abilities should include:
a. Profound knowledge in at least one Oracle Health Solution to aid clinical domain teams.
b. Offering best practices advice for Oracle Health Solution configurations.
c. Conducting evaluative research to inform decision-making and preparing briefs.
d. Advising on clinical and business process integration for optimum Oracle Health Solutions configuration.
e. Assessing configuration choices for their impact across multiple aspects including system upkeep and compliance.
f. Engaging proactively with IHS clinicians and administrators to streamline decision processes.
g. Aligning system configuration and processes with System Integrator/EHR Vendor standards.
h. Involvement in high-impact projects as needed.
Routine Responsibilities:
Operating as an EHR Analyst with a focus on Oracle/Cerner PathNet. Responsibilities include advancing the development, deployment, and continuous enhancement of the IHS EHR, leveraging a blend of project management skills and Oracle Health solutions proficiency. This role necessitates laboratory experience in healthcare facilities ranging from hospital to outpatient settings.
Educational Requirements:
A Bachelor s or Master s degree (or an equivalent/higher level of education) in fields such as Informatics, Computer Science, Public Health, or a related clinical/medical/business discipline is recommended.
