The Business

The Company is a leading renewable Independent Power Producer (IPP) focused on developing, constructing, and operating solar assets.

The Role

The Asset Manager will oversee a portfolio of community solar and distributed generation (DG) assets. This role involves optimizing financial performance, managing contracts, and ensuring the long-term success of the projects. The Asset Manager will collaborate with various teams to ensure that assets are performing at their best, both financially and operationally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage community solar assets to maximize performance and profitability.
  • Oversee contracts (PPAs, leases), ensuring compliance and risk management.
  • Track and report on asset performance, including energy output and financial metrics.
  • Develop strategies to boost revenue and adapt to market changes and incentives.
  • Work with operations to resolve performance issues.
  • Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Collaborate with finance teams on forecasts, reports, and budgets.
  • Assist with due diligence for acquisitions and refinancing.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years in asset management, financial analysis, or contract management in renewable energy.
  • Expertise in community solar or distributed generation (DG), including subscriber management and tariffs.
  • Strong understanding of energy markets, regulatory frameworks, and incentives.
  • Proficient in financial modeling and forecasting.
