The Instructional Designer is responsible for developing innovative instructional programs and materials that align with organizational goals and learner needs for the client. This role requires a blend of instructional design expertise, creativity, and strong communication skills to create engaging and effective learning experiences. The Instructional Designer will collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and relevancy of training content.

Qualification
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Instructional Design, Education, Training and Development, or a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools (e.g. Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia).
Experience with SCORM-compliant course development and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
Strong understanding of 508-compliance requirements and best practices for creating accessible learning materials.
Expertise in designing and developing comprehensive instructional materials, including course summary sheets, learning objectives, course outlines, storyboards, video scripts, job aids, quick reference sheets, and other supporting documents.
Ability to create online, interactive training materials in various formats, such as printable job aids, instructor-led (virtual and in-person), microlearning, videos, and eLearning courses.
Experience in developing and administering a variety of assessments and analyzing assessment data to evaluate instructional program effectiveness.
Strong understanding instructional design models (e.g. ADDIE, SAM).
Proven ability to accurately track and document the progress, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with subject matter experts (SMEs), leadership teams, and learners.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to a hybrid work schedule, role is a hybrid position requiring in-office presence at least twice a week, with additional onsite time as needed based on role-specific and agency requirements.

Desired Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field.
Proficiency in using Workday for creating, managing, and delivering training programs. Experience in leveraging Workday's Learning Management System (LMS) capabilities to track learner progress, generate reports, and ensure compliance with training requirements. Ability to integrate Workday with other eLearning authoring tools and platforms to enhance the overall learning experience.
