  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  2. Click. then Settings.
  3. Click Privacy and Security.
  4. Click Site settings.
  5. Click JavaScript.
  6. Select Sites can use Javascript.

Our client, a national restaurant chain, is seeking a contract-to-hire Staff Accountant to join their growing team!

Job Title: Staff Accountant

Location: Alexandria, VA

Company: Nationally-respected restaurant chain

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
  • Conduct reconciliations of bank accounts and financial discrepancies.
  • Assist with budget preparation and forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
  • Support the finance team with various accounting projects and tasks as needed.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the restaurant or retail industry.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
