The Environmental Health & Safety Manager position is part of the Environmental Health and Safety team located in Fargo, ND, and will be on-site. At Aldevron, we combine best-in-class products and service with the ideal operating environment to lay the groundwork for vital new discoveries worldwide. You will be a part of the EHS team and report to the Director of Environmental Health, Safety, Security & Sustainability. This position will oversee our Fargo, ND and Madison, WI sites.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Responsible for building and maintaining EHS management systems, policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Facilities and R&D on designing and improving the EHS infrastructure, i.e. policy development, etc.
  • Communicate and regularly present to stakeholders and senior leadership internally and at the Danaher corporate level
  • Regularly review and update safety and security practices and procedures to align with evolving regulations, industry standards, and organizational needs
  • Manage team of 3-4 EHS Specialists and maintain some oversight of workers' compensation


The essential requirements of the job include:
  • At least 5+ years of EHS experience
  • Bachelor's degree or related experience in occupational health and safety, environmental science or related field
  • Proven experience developing and implementing employee engagement around EHS programs
  • Previous leadership experience


It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
  • Ergonomics
  • OSHA VPP
  • First Aid/CPR/AED
