The Program Manager plays a crucial role in the Youth in Business team, empowering youth to run their own business while aligning with the values and mission of Jubilee Arts. This role requires a blend of entrepreneurial expertise, youth leadership experience, and a deep appreciation for the arts.

Jubilee Arts is a dynamic organization dedicated to using artistic expression to facilitate positive change within communities. As a small, committed team, we work hard to deliver exceptional creative experiences to over 2,000 participants each year. We proudly serve as a key program under Intersection of Change (IOC), enriching the economic, social, and spiritual lives of those in Sandtown-Winchester and surrounding communities.
About Youth In Business (YiB)
Our Youth in Business (YiB) program is a cornerstone of Jubilee Arts, aimed at cultivating entrepreneurial leadership skills in high school-aged youth by providing hands-on experience in managing an art-based business. We are looking for a passionate Program Manager who can lead our youth in business development, provide personal and professional growth opportunities, and support their transition into successful post-high school endeavors.

The Program Manager plays a crucial role in the Youth in Business team, empowering youth to run their own business while aligning with the values and mission of Jubilee Arts. This role requires a blend of entrepreneurial expertise, youth leadership experience, and a deep appreciation for the arts.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Youth Leadership board and support youth leaders in planning and coordinating activities.
- Supervise a diverse team including Program Coordinator, Program Assistant, Teaching Artists, Marketing Specialist, and volunteers.
- Drive program and business development, including strategic visioning, art direction, and marketing.
- Oversee administrative tasks such as budget management, payroll processing, and inventory tracking.
- Lead marketing efforts, including social media, email campaigns, and creating impact reports.
- Minimum three years of experience in high school youth development or education.
- At least three years in a supervisory role, with experience managing staff.
- Minimum one year of experience in visual arts or working in a creative/arts-based organization.
- Proficient in MS Office (or similar software).
- Current driver’s license and willingness to drive a 15-passenger van when needed.
- Experience in creating reports (annual, financial, funding, or grant reports).
- Passion for art and community engagement.
- Teaching experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Familiarity with West Baltimore.
- Excellent communication skills for developing and maintaining relationships with youth, parents, and community partners.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects on tight deadlines.
- Commitment to supporting youth voice, power, and cooperative economics.
