Desktop Support Analyst - Part Time

Description

Robert Half is seeking a Part-Time Desktop Support Analyst to join our IT client's team in Martinez. This Part Time Desktop Support role will provide technical support in a Windows-based environment by assisting with computer imaging, troubleshooting, and general desktop support tasks. The Part Time Desktop Support position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in IT support, looking for part-time work in a professional and collaborative environment. This Desktop Support Role is a long term contract.

Responsibilities:

• Drive between different sites in Martinez, ensuring all systems are operating efficiently.
• Build and image computers, ensuring they are ready for use.
• Provide technical support and solutions for Windows systems.
• Manage, troubleshoot and maintain iPads and iPhones within the organization.
• Utilize Dell Technologies for various tasks such as system configuration and management.
• Utilize Active Directory for managing networked resources.
• Implement and manage Backup Technologies to ensure data safety.
• Accurately maintain hardware configurations and updates for desktop systems.
• Conduct necessary system checks and maintenance before start of operations.
• Ensure all system operations adhere to the organization's policies and guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in Computer Hardware
• Knowledge of Dell Technologies
• Familiarity with Backup Technologies
• Experience in Configuration Management
• Understanding of Desktop Hardware
• Proven experience in desktop support or IT helpdesk roles.
• Familiarity with imaging computers and deploying systems in a Windows environment.
• Experience with Windows 10/11, Active Directory, and basic network troubleshooting.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise technical assistance.
• Ability to work onsite in Martinez on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
