Job Summary:

As a Project Manager - Finance, you will oversee and manage various finance-related projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project execution, improve financial processes, and enhance overall efficiency. Your role will be crucial in aligning financial projects with the strategic goals of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for finance-related initiatives.

  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with internal stakeholders, including finance, accounting, and IT teams, to gather requirements and provide updates.

  • Execution and Monitoring: Lead project execution, monitor progress, and adjust plans as necessary to meet project milestones.

  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them.

  • Reporting: Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.

  • Process Improvement: Analyze existing financial processes and recommend enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Team Leadership: Coordinate and mentor project team members, fostering collaboration and ensuring accountability.

  • Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure that projects comply with internal policies and external regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.

  • 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in finance or accounting.

  • PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and forecasting.

  • Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Trello, Asana) and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
