Responsibilities:
- Client and Team Communication: Act as the primary contact for clients, coordinating with the project team (including China-based managers) to ensure smooth project execution.
- Project Planning and Management: Develop and manage project schedules, control costs, and oversee payments. Ensure all project milestones are met according to the agreed timeline.
- Risk and Quality Control: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies. Conduct quality control reviews and ensure compliance with client requirements at each phase.
- Supplier Development and Management: Identify and onboard suppliers, manage their processes and resources, and ensure they meet project timelines and quality standards.
- Design Phase Oversight: Clarify client requirements, coordinate with the team on processes and resources, lead design review meetings, and report progress to clients.
- Assembly Phase Management: Ensure assembly processes meet client specifications, support the team in quality control, and lead acceptance meetings with the client.
- On-Site Project Execution: Manage on-site activities, attend client progress meetings, ensure safety and quality standards are maintained, and conduct acceptance at each project stage.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of U.S. project management experience; 5+ years in body-in-white or powertrain (battery/motor assembly preferred).
- Successful management of large-scale projects ($15M+).
- Strong supplier and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
