For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $136,000 - $204,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The Digital Grid Strategic Marketing Leader will be an entrepreneurial team player, with strong marketing, leadership, technical, and communication skills (verbal, presentation and writing). The ideal candidate brings a passion and understanding of the Digital Grid portfolio enabling their team and orchestrating strategy across Global Marketing, Product Marketing, Sales/Partners, Power & Grid and Country marketing to drive cohesive and scalable demand. He or she has proven success running data-driven marketing programs that deliver measurable growth; and a track record of collaborating with sales and partners to deliver the marketing tools they need to win. This person is able amplify technical material into compelling marketing campaigns to engage customers. This person has the skills and experience to drive vision and execution as the organization transitions to a subscription-based, cloud solution.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive DG SLT engagement, PR/media presence and thought leadership
  • Design and guide execution of marketing strategies highlighting the one DG platform and individual DG portfolio products and programs to increase the quantity and quality of leads as well as brand visibility across utility industry
    • Manage team of marketing contributors including program content, design, and digital marketing
    • Manage third-party vendors responsible for outbound digital and account-based marketing campaigns
    • Develop digital campaigns that activate and amplify product marketing and thought leadership collateral through multi-touch campaigns to engage buyers and end users at various stages of the customer journey - including lead gen, nurturing, conversion, and renewals
      • Digital campaigns to include mix of social media, video, PPC/Google, placed advertising, retargeting, blog content, etc.
      • Work closely with the web strategy team or third-party for development to ensure high-quality leads get funneled directly to DG Sales experts
      • Establish SEO/PPC strategy to improve search results and drive traffic
      • Support DG events with digital campaigns
    • Ensure team applies appropriate marketing mix with event strategy to create a healthy pipeline to drive consistent growth
    • Forecast, measure, analyze, refine, improve and report on impact of programs
    • Efficiently manage the team budget allocation
  • Work with Sales & Product Marketing to establish campaign goals, deliver creative guidance, schedules, and performance metrics
    • Manage and own demand funnel metrics, Marketing qualified leads, campaign timeline, and budget of all campaigns.
  • Proactively animate / engage with global marketing, country marketing teams, Power & Grid segment and DG product marketing to activate, coordinate, communicate, and optimize the impact of marketing activities in various regions/countries worldwide
    • Indirectly manage country/regional marketing managers/contributors lead & animate the overall Marketing community for maximum IMPACT on the market for DG Transformation

Education, Experience & Training required:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10/15+ years successful marketing experience in B2B industry
  • Experience developing and executing successful plans to drive pipeline growth
  • Experience with CRM, marketing automation, analytics and business insight tools
  • Management experience leading marketing professionals
  • Strategic view: ability to see the world as "what could be" and create and sell a vision to get there
  • Ability to bring new ideas to increase efficiency of existing processes
  • Experience in cross-functional leadership
  • Excellent communication skills: both verbal and written
  • Excellent planning, time management, decision making, and organization skills resulting in consistent meeting of deadlines
  • Presentational experience: in-person and via webinar to internal and external audiences
  • Energetic, high performer willing to take initiative and drive visionary strategy across a team
