World class gas & water metering manufacturer is looking for a LoRaWAN Project Leader to manage our team in developing a wireless water meter based on the LoRaWAN industry standard. The Project Leader will play a critical role in working with our engineering team to ensure that our product meets the customer expectations. As such, the Project Leader will report to the president of the company, direct the development process, and resolve all issues with the help of the engineering team.

The LoRaWAN Project Leader s duties will include:

Determining the requirements for the wireless water meter based on inputs from both existing and potential residential and industrial customers.

Directing the engineering team to ensure the product meets the customer needs.

Scheduling and assigning tasks so the project is completed in a timely manner.

Some domestic travel to meet customers, although most customer communication can be performed electronically. The LoRaWAN Project Leader should have the following skills:

A bachelor s degree in a technical field or a technical background.

Excellent communication skills to work with customers and the engineering team.

Strong customer service emphasis and a passion for delivering exceptional support.

Ability to think critically and to adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Technical knowledge of the LoRaWAN specification, including battery-operated Class A end devices, gateways, and network servers.

Experience with wireless communication protocols, including the join process and the transmit process.

Understanding of how the gateway fits into to the overall communication chain, including wireless communication to/from the end device and IP communication to the network servers.

Knowledge of the LoraWAN network join and application servers, preferably with the AWS implementation.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

This position can be remotely directed although we are in Cincinnati, Ohio. You will be joining a dynamic and experienced design team focused on developing world-class solutions.
