  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Conduct status checks on background investigations
  • Conduct telephone and written inquiries in compliance with the Privacy Act of 1974
  • Initiate background investigations based on risk level
  • Assist with audit preparation and post-investigation follow-up
  • Maintain and organize security and suitability files for applicants

What Is Required (Qualifications)
  • Minimum of two years of experience conducting background investigations
  • Completed formal training in conducting background investigations
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite applications
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced security environment

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Three plus years of experience providing customer service
  • Familiarity with e-QIP/eAPP
  • Experience working with an automated case management system
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Favorably adjudicated background investigation completed within the last five years
