Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Project Manager to join our utility construction company, specializing in water and sewer for the commercial industry in DFW and the surrounding metroplex. As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the planning and execution of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and up to quality standards. Your attention to detail, strong leadership & communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage the project will be vital in driving project success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage construction projects from start to finish, including buy out, scheduling, and resource management
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring adherence to project milestones and goals
  • Coordinate with other PMs, clients, engineers, and General Contractors to ensure project requirements and specifications are met
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to VP of Ops, promptly identifying and addressing any issues or delays
  • Review project plans, ensuring compliance with local codes, regulations, and safety standards
  • Collaborate with the Preconstruction team to select and source materials, equipment, and subcontractors required for each project
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with General Contractors and suppliers, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
  • Experience in the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, codes, and regulations
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with different teams and personalities
  • Ability to problem-solve, think critically, and make decisions quickly and effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
