With 20 years of experience in servicing our customer s needs, we are looking for new technicians with a great attitude and exceptional customer service skills to complement our existing staff. Serving Edmonton and surrounding areas our technicians are responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection, operation, and repair of plumbing, heating, and cooling systems for residential customers.

Your Experience

We are looking for highly motivated individuals with 5+ years of experience in the HVAC trade to join our team. You will have a solid understanding of the current regulations, demonstrable knowledge, and skills for plumbing, HVAC installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of systems and equipment. Whether you are an apprentice or a Journeyman/Journeywoman, we want to speak with you!

Previous work experience in a service-focused organization would be a strong asset. Capital Plumbing and Heating requires employees to complete a criminal/background check, you must be insurable, have clean drivers abstract, and pass substance abuse tests. As you will be in close contact with our customers you must have a professional appearance.

The Position

This position requires the ability to work 40 hours per week, potential for overtime, when required. Our technicians also have the opportunity for an on-call rotation for after hours emergency services during our busy season.

Key Responsibilities include

  • Complete plumbing, drain cleaning, and other related in-home, service calls.

  • Install, maintain, modify, and repair plumbing, heating, and cooling systems

  • Serving the clients by expertly servicing all plumbing and heating needs in their homes.

  • Inspect and test components of systems to ensure they are operable and safe

  • Conduct heat loss/heat gain calculations to determine the proper size system for a home

  • Understand your sales criteria and hold yourself accountable for exceeding revenue goals.

  • Establish rapport with clients to provide them with the right products and services.
