Job Overview:

This position is for a Quality focused person to help the business produce compliant field processes and records. This position will work closely with our customer support teams, including CSC Agents, Field Service Engineers, and Implementation Analysts. This Quality role will have an emphasis on being able to work with our Field Support Engineers by reinforcing compliant processes and accurate record creation. This position will also inspect targeted service and installation records to ensure the records are completed and compliant.

What is expected of you for success in your role:
  • Record inspection and auditing will be a key part of this position.
  • Willing to travel to help train service and implementation teams in quality record compliance
  • Is a strong team player and works with non-Quality personnel to achieve compliant processes and records.
  • Able to recognize trends in data and investigate the source of those trends.
  • Applies comprehensive knowledge of service quality concepts including troubleshooting, repair, and documentation for medical hardware and electronics.
  • Represents Quality organization on cross-functional customer support teams
  • Identify risks and proactively work with the Service Quality team to document risks and help to develop and ensure mitigation plans are in place
  • Apply Quality tools (Sampling Plans, Root Cause Analysis, Statistics, etc)
  • Applies knowledge and skills to a wide range of standard and non-standard situations
  • Communicates issues to a wider audience including Quality leadership, Manufacturing, and Manufacturing Quality.
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of quality policies, principles and best practices
  • Understanding of regulatory and international standards requirements including 21 CFR 210, 211, ISO 13485, ISO 14971 to support work with little or no supervision


Duties include:
  • Working within Dispensing data systems. These systems include:
    • Salesforce, SAP, Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc), and custom software as required
  • Provide guidance to the business regarding potential projects to improve the Quality of Dispensing products. These projects include:
    • Service component trending
    • Improving compliance through complaint and service signal analysis
    • Out of Box and First Year Repair Rate improvements
    • Implementation project compliance
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts, through facilitating, leading, and collaborating with cross functional teams.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure compliant records are generated.
  • Works together with other Quality team members to improve signal integrity of post market quality systems.
  • Monitors and ensures compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g. compliance with FDA, BSI, CSA, etc.).
  • Identifies areas requiring quality improvement and follows through plans of action necessary for implementation.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant degree field (engineering, quality management, etc) preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality, focusing on record accuracy and procedure compliance . Experience in medical device industry is required.
  • Strong understanding of medical device regulations is required.
  • Experience as a field service technician or a customer support associate preferred.
  • Understanding of risk management and quality concepts is preferred.
  • Attentiveness to details with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work proactively and independently
  • Ability to multi-task and efficient in time management
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and other desktop/general business systems

Salary Range Information
$99,000.00 - $163,300.00 USD Annual
