Currently, they are looking to add a Merchandising Assistant to their team.

Position Overview

The Merchandising Assistant will play a key role in supporting the merchandising operations team by managing product assortments, pricing strategies, and inventory planning. This Merchandising Assistant position requires experience outside of traditional retail, with a focus on operational efficiency, data management, and a strong understanding of supply chain processes. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Responsibilities Of The Merchandising Assistant

  • Assist in the selection and analysis of product assortments.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to track inventory levels and delivery schedules.
  • Maintain up-to-date merchandising reports, sales data, and inventory tracking systems.
  • Analyze competitor pricing and product strategies to inform business decisions.
  • Work closely with the Marketing and Sales teams on new product launches and promotions.
  • Manage the product catalog, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Support the development and execution of merchandising plans to optimize product performance.
  • Coordinate with vendors to resolve issues related to product quality, availability, or delivery.

Qualifications For The Merchandising Assistant

  • 1 – 2 years of experience in merchandising operations, specifically in beauty and/or retail industry.
  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel or similar data management tools.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of supply chain processes and merchandising best practices.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
