RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is seeking a highly organized and proactive Department Coordinator to join our team in Culver City, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our department.

Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and schedule large meetings, working closely with assistants from various departments to ensure availability and preparedness
* Organize and execute quarterly team events, including logistics, venue selection, and coordination of activities
* Maintain inventory and order office supplies as needed to ensure the department is well-stocked and operational
* Oversee and manage seating assignments within the department, ensuring optimal use of space and accommodating new hires
* Arrange and order lunch for departmental events and meetings, catering to dietary preferences and requirements
* Prepare and process purchase requisitions for departmental needs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
* Track and ensure timely updates of compliance reports, following up with team members as necessary to gather required information
* Draft and distribute departmental communications, keeping the team informed of important updates, events, and announcements
REQUIREMENTS:
* 2-3+ years of proven experience in a similar administrative or coordinator role
* Strong organizational and multitasking skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
* Proficiency in basic systems and tools such as Numbers/Excel, Pages/Word, Keynote/PowerPoint, Mail/Outlook, etc.
* Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Slack, Quip, SharePoint, Webex, Zoom, etc. or similar
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in event planning/scheduling and coordination
* Familiarity with compliance reporting and tracking
* Knowledge of office supply management and procurement processes
* Experience with financial processes and documentation is a plus
* Experience in the media and entertainment industry is highly desirable
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
